Tate
Down in London for a few days on a Half-Term jolly and happy that Tom had decided at late-ish notice that he wasn't too old to come with us after all (despite the added cost and the neccesity of booking kennels for the family's hairiest member), we celebrated with a double bill of art this afternoon, taking in both the Richard Hamilton and Paul Klee exhibitions at Tate Modern after dodging the fashionistas who were there for a big show in the Turbine Hall as part of London Fashion Week (we'd already been in Covent Garden earlier where a big area around the Opera House was closed off by preparations for the BAFTAs - it's certainly a busy weekend in the Capital) and then by taking the somewhat picture-tired kids to Strada for pasta and ice cream to make up for forcing so much culture on them in one go!
