Manchester City Art Gallery for Joana Vasconcelos 'Time Machine' exhibition... Textile heaven! We didn't actually pay to get in the main exhibition but there were healthy smatterings of her work around the rest of the gallery which we enjoyed for free! Activities for the kids were top notch with the current show too.

Packed lunch on a bench then pudding at Gingers Comfort Emporium in Aflecks Palace.

Home to sausage rolls and baked beans. Nothing finer!
