Llandaf Weir

I stopped off to have a look at Llandaf Weir on my way home this afternoon. The river level has dropped somewhat, but a tremendous amount of water is still thundering over the weir. I was amazed that these tufts of grass or reed manage to keep their roots attached to the structure of the weir despite the powerful cascade of water crashing all around them.
