Funeral

Amid all the activity ahead of tomorrow's stage 3 of the Bill in the Scottish Parliament I had to attend a funeral this afternoon.

It was a busy time as various groups have been vociferous in their concerns and we have been seeking to reassure.

But the funeral was an important one. I understand I was introduced to Sheila over 55 years ago and I have known her over these years until she went into a home with dementia. My aunt, her former neighbour, had known her for 75 years.

So a necessary space to say farewell. Then back to the emails.
