Ambassador's Visit

Mr Liam MacGabhann, Irish Ambassador to Malawi, did us the honour of visiting the, just completed, factory today.
He was on a visit to two projects that Irish Aid is funding in Mzuzu and found the time to squeeze in a visit.
He expressed his delight at seeing such a wonderful facility, talked to the workers, and asked to be shown all the operations that they do.
He was pleasantly surprised by the high level of skill shown by Harisen, William and Moses and by the potential that the pump has in helping Malawi achieve their commitment to the Millennium Development goals on clean water.
In the pic, Harisen explains the working of the pump to Liam who looks on in amazement. The visit was short, but he will be back.
