Q is for Quid

I thought about this one in advance and set aside a pound coin so that I didn’t accidentally spend it. As it turns out, I ended up lending money to Alex to buy some Lego from his savings, which he paid me back when we got home and it was mainly pound coins.

So what struck me here is the variety of designs that appear on the coins and there will have been many more over the years.
