Good mates

Ok, I was going to put up a picture of George in the horse box, and get all pathetic and talk of love and wonderousness and other fluffy nonsense and I realised I was moving towards being truly soppy and frankly utterly unmanly.

But here's a picture of my good friend Michel. He's put me up in Aberdeen while I'm en route up to Shetland.

Michel comes out with some of the most outrageously ridiculous comments and phrases that I've ever heard in my life. I mean they are certifiable, but because of their completely unrepeatable nature, I always end up rolling around on the floor laughing so hard.

He's not deliberately funny, but his comments and off the cuff remarks are hilarious.

He's got a heart of gold, and he's a great buddy. I'm lucky to have some really good friends, and he's one of the best..
