At work for a couple of hours, and then a plane north to Auckland. Pick up a rental and then drive south, Taupo the destination. For dinner, with a client. And quite an important one.

Managed to squeeze in a quick ride at Craters of the Moon. Tried to pay the $10 fee online, way too hard, and then set off, trying to follow the suggested loop. Way too hard also.

Ended up giving up on the trails and found a forestry road and rode up it, finding of course some trails at the top. Rode Debs Trail, then back to the car park.

Into Taupo, checked in, and out for dinner.

And then a very thought provoking night …
