Hina Ningyo

This is one of dolls that is currently on display in our living room in preparation for March 3rd which is Hina Matsuri (festival). It came from my wife's house and she used to play with them when she was a kid. My daughter replaced one of them with a minion and gave another a Lego cooking pot. She fixed it before my wife could launch the camera on her phone.

I keep missing things. I missed having beans thrown at me while wearing a mask this year but I'll be home for this one. The beans are dried not baked or anything.

I don't think we do anything apart from display the dolls for a few weeks either side of the day though. Maybe theirs some food involved. I forget.
