Surprising end to the dog walk
We set off on our walk this afternoon with grey skies above and threatening to rain. I wasn't even going to bother with my camera.
Katie was busy snuffling here there and everywhere in the woods and by the time we emerged on the other side the sky was beginning to lighten a bit.
Across the fields we saw a couple of deer and I tried to photograph them- but with only having the equivalent of a 90mm lens on the LX5 they are only about 50 pixels high!
Anyway as we turned for home the sun began to appear and give an orange/yellow glow. The trees were silhouetted against the sky so I shot a few different angles, and this was about the only one with no lens flare. What a difference an hour makes, and I am glad I did take a camera.
