Wilmcote

We had a really nice morning today, sun, no wind, actual warmth so we decided to take Dylan for a canal-side walk from Wilmcote. The way wasn’t too muddy and we finished off walking through the village to visit the church-yard which abounded with snowdrops.

By the time we went out for coffee after lunch the sky had clouded over, though we still didn’t get any rain.

I made an old favourite for tea, creamy carrot and parsnip soup, just the job for our cold evenings.
