The tree

The damaged tree is in the process of being cut and removed. I guess by the weekend it will have gone....

I'm going to have a moan today; there seem to be a lot of winos on the Dale of late who social services have housed in the Connaught hotel up the road hence they get their cans and sit on the Dale all day drinking. I don't have issue with that; it's their business if they choose to live their lives that way but I do have issue with the amount of discarded cans and plastic bags I noticed today so I'm going to go and have a litter pickup on Sunday and ask them to remember its a conservation area and there is wildlife living on the Dale that can't choose to avoid their rubbish.
