Waterloo Road

Very functional, the construction down this part of Waterloo Road. But I like the 'take-it-or-leave-it' design of the railway bridges, and the bright (garish) colours.
Contrasting with this functionality, just up the road (behind the camera) is the church of St John's Waterloo built in Greek revival style in 1824. A line from George Herbert adorns the outside wall on the south side: 'all may have, if they dare try, a glorious life, or grave'. I found all this after getting home from a morning's training at the Personal Support Unit followed by a walk around Waterloo.
