New glasses and 19 mins later

Today was CJ's big day - today he got his new glasses!

He was brilliant while they put them on and checked the size. He was happy to play with the toys in the cupboard while they made some alterations. He then happily modelled them for everyone!

They didn't seem to bother him, he didn't try to take them off - he just accepted that he was wearing them.

So we headed home.

19 minutes later, just moments from getting home, there was a thud in the backseat. The glasses were off and the legs going different ways. CJ had gotten a little excited by them and was testing their durability against the door.

S2 operated and with the help of some electrical tape, they are now usable again. Once on again, CJ refused to take them off. He does really like them!

But I think we will be heading back for a new leg tomorrow.
