Dealing with storm damage

The great storm of last Friday blew down several trees around here, and split the Judas tree next to the Dutch barn (the tree that produces beautiful pink flowers in spring). One half was blown so it was resting on the roof of one of the farmyard sheds and was threatening a cable running between barn & shed.
Here you see sawn-off parts of the branch being carried into the shelter of the barn, so the shed roof and cable are now safe.
