Inaugural Aubergine
I cooked Chinese (as taught to me by my Chinese wife) tonight. I've made the twice-cooked pork bellies many times before, but this was the first time I've done the steamed aubergines (with garlic and lots of oyster sauce, seared with some boiling hot oil). It actually turned out alright.
