Flowering bulbs

When you want a touch of spring in the middle of winter, getting some flowers for the house can really cheer things up. I picked up some flowering hyacinth bulbs to bring a little glimpse of spring indoors.
I had art class this morning and made progress on my current project. Lots of detail with this one. It is a challenge for me but I'm up for it. It just might take a bit longer than my usual projects. I enjoyed getting out even with the pouring rain coming down and making a mess of all the snow on the ground. I think we are in for some flooding this week.
My gutters are filled with ice and the roof is loaded with snow. Rain and warmer temperatures could cause some problems.
