Yeah! The Beach!

We finally made it to the beach! We had a wonderful lunch, walked along the pier and the beach. It was wonderful.

The Santa Monica pier has an amusement park including a ferris wheel and roller coaster, as well as several restaurants. Recently, Cirque du Soleil constructed several large "tents" on the beach, and are putting on one of their amazing shows. We thought about trying to catch a show tonight, but they were "off" tonight. Oh well.
