Great Northern Tower, Manchester....

Still raiding the archives until I get out. This was taken on one of the hot, blue sky days that Manchester enjoyed last summer. On the left we have the Great Northern Tower, an apartment block in the convention district of the city. On the right is the modern extension of the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, one of Manchester's 5* hotels. The trees add some softness to hard geometry of this part of the city. The are used to be very rundown but is now one of the smartest parts of the city...
