The Wolf

Stirling and Rome are two cities which share a common beast in their city mythology: the wolf. The couchant or seated wolf, who howled, alerted the people to a Viking raid on Stirling. This wolf features on the Wolfcraig Building in Port Street/Dumbarton Road, Stirling.
