Looking over Lookout Beach

This is the view from the restaurant where we had delicious milkshakes this afternoon! It has been overcast and cool with some welcome rain.
A few years ago this beach was washed away by severe storms and high tides. The restaurant was surrounded by sea and the carpark was washed away. It's fascinating to see how the whole scene has changed...once again it's a popular beach and the lagoon and river mouth has moved about 500 metres up the beach.
