Langstone Mill

I was lunching with a friend in Waterlooville so drove down to Langstone Harbour afterwards to take a few photos as it had stopped raining.
This 4 story tower mill was built in 1730 and worked in conjunction with a tide mill close by. It had four 'common' sails and used to grind corn and gunpowder to be shipped to Spain and Portugal for the armies fighting in the peninsular war.
Like the one I blipped the other day, (Tuesday 18th) it has been converted into residential accommodation.
