Little prayer at lunch

St Mary's is described as a treasury of 17th century art.It is in its own yard(Abchurch yard) which is literally a stones throw away from my office,and it's the first time I went in today!

The very kind church watcher gave me a little tour and history of the place. Allowed me to stand in the pulpit and showed me the font with its unique cover.

The sword holder shown in photo is where traditionally The Lord Mayor of London would come into the church in a ceremonious way and place the sword in holder.

It was beautiful lighting a candle,it always is......
