Edgeworthya Chrysantha

This amazing paper plant seems to do things the other way around. When the leaves fall off in autumn it produces buds which have stayed there all winter. Now that spring is approaching it is producing flowers, before any leaf buds can even be seen. She's planted in honour of my friend Aggie who died in New Zealand a little over a year ago.
