Tulip stamens

Experimented with manual exposure and macro zoom today, which isn't as clever as it sounds as the camera has an on-screen exposure meter. But I was impressed with the magnification and detail you can achieve. Now I need to get a tripod to do away with my shaky hands! This tulip is from my birthday bouquet, nearly a week old and only just beginning to go over. I've enjoyed looking at them every day from the couch :)
