Hexham

There was a brief spell this afternoon when it felt like spring had arrived. However within a short time, the rain and hail came down and the temperature dropped significantly. I had of course left my washing out on the line!

This is a shot taken in Hexham looking along one of the old narrow streets in the centre of the town. I'm not too sure if the Union Flag in the picture is a usual feature or in celebration of the bronze medal won at the Olympic games today.
