Only a brief moment in time....

Managed to pop out briefly and walk the dog in a bit of sunshine. She has been largely neglected this week.

This tree and its creeping, green moss appealed to me. It stood out in the bare, leafless forest.

I was out almost an hour without a phone signal, during which time my daughter's thumb was hit by a hockey ball in PE and she was taken to hospital. X rayed and wearing a sling now, but only bruising. Feeling a wave of 'mother guilt'.
