Back Again

Last year, we had a family of pheasants and red legged partridges visit our garden on a daily basis throughout the summer.

Clearly they are safe in these parts, as the shooters tend to go further onto the fells, where many game birds meet their fate during the shooting season.

The partridges are back with their new families and I guess we will be seeing the pheasant family again in the not too distant future.
