Spent today at another driving event that took us to Goodwood race track, on a route that started and finished at Farnborough, Hampshire. That is the clue to this blip. Anyone who has had cause to visit a hotel there, the Aviator, will instantly recognise where I was when this was taken.

It's an unusual hotel right on the edge of the airfield, and so predictably has an aeroplane theme throughout, from fabulous metal models of a Vulcan to jokey purple caricatures of a jumbo jet. The hotel foyer has this dramatic atrium. This shot is taken looking down from the fourth floor, above the staircase that leads up from the hotel entrance to Reception on the first floor. Good job I don't suffer from vertigo!
