Jazz It Up

Great evening at the Jazz Festival tonight!!!

Waited in anticipation all day so was relieved when school was over...extra tutoring completed....and I could race home to change, wrap up warm and head out to Festival City!

The venue was the park all laid out with picnic tables...refreshment booths and promotion stands of the sponsors...namely Toyota!! We were meeting friends and as one in particular had not come armed with a jumper..(the wind was blowing really cold!) GK and I headed off to take the Toyota Challenge and win some freebies....a blanket being one of them, red sparkly trilbies, flashing bracelets and braids and to bottom it all...concertina cushions to sit on....(the picnic benches were hard!)

We had to register, then stand in the spotlight and do a silly jump which was photographed to go on their facebook page! It wasn't difficult, GK and I passed with flying colours....we could easily work in the Ministry of Silly Jumps!!!

We got our freebies and most importantly....our blanket....so Stuart could warm up and not die of pneumonia whilst listening to an unknown saxophonist!!!

A great evening....and a late one too!!!
