View from Simmond's Bridge, Wisborough Green
After yesterday's somewhat dreamy interlude, today it was back to beating the wet weather! At least it did clear up but any walk in the countryside is very difficult as the ground is completely saturated. I went for a walk down the tarmac Harsfold Lane at Wisborough Green which at least affords a reasonable walk into the countryside without sinking in mud!
This view is looking downstream from Simmond's Bridge on Harsfold Lane. I am never sure what this stream is called, so it will for the time being remain nameless! It widens considerably at this point in spite of the water level being high, it is as wide as it gets at this point. It flows on to join the River Arun in the far distance.
