Its all going down the drain!

There is nothing, that is as irritating, as getting soaked to the skin. There is nothing more annoying that having the drips run off somebody's umbrella and down one's neck, especially when they are supposed to be sheltering you.
There can be nothing more infuriating than being soaked by some boy racer swerving into a pool of surface water that has laid dormant in the gutter for hours. There are few things that 'get up your goat' more than the surplus water being pushed off the rain soaked canopy of an outdoor market stall especially as you pass. What's the point in having gutters when they are full of some exotic cultivation that diverts the rain over the top, such an enraging occurrence. And what's the point in having half a down pipe that launches the cascading rain onto the floor only for it to spray everywhere!
