No, not the cake. The coffee.

This is the coffee bar in the Garden Lobby area of the Parliament. There's always a steady queue in the morning, but this morning it was even busier than usual. We were in the Chamber till 8.30pm last night which meant most of us didn't eat until after 9.00pm and the chatting and decompressing after that meant very late nights for most of us.

Hence the urgent need for restorative coffee this morning.

Kirsty, on the right, is our barista extraordinaire! She knows what everyone drinks, keeps all the loyalty cards and stamps them herself, then presents you with your coffee even when you've no idea a free one is coming up :-)
