Misconceptions

I was asked to be a panelist at Edinburgh Uni tonight, an event on misconceptions of industry.

I had 5 minutes to talk about other industries and I (lucky me) had 'bankers', while an investor had 5 minutes to talk about me, representing tech start ups. Then had to do a 2 minute rebuttal on his points.

I must have missed the memo that there was a lot of banter involved - some joked, some told stories... I on the other hand got TORE IN to the banking industry. Lots of people congratulated me afterwards but I did feel sorry for Steve from Santander. I didn't make his life easy.

I felt good representing tech start ups... It's a good place to be. Onward and upward!
