Advance notice

The students next door came round today whilst I was at work to let us know they they are having a 21st birthday for one of them tomorrow night. We're not invited, they just wanted to let us know that there would probably be lots of noise, which is fair enough.

Roland was in, so he thanked them for letting us know and wished them a great evening. He also thanked them for not complaining about the sound of ukulele practice going on sometimes as early as 6am. I've not done that for ages! It's a summer habit, for when I wake early!

Anyway, they've got the fairy lights lit in the garden, as you can see.

First choir practice in what seems like ages this evening. Our recently appointed Musical Director has decided to leave us in 3 weeks time so we're on the hunt for a new one. Again. And a new rehearsal space. Again.
