After all the rain the other day, the tops do look rather nice in their lovely white coats.

An Olympic filled day. Got up early to watch the curling, congrats to Eve Muirhead's rink for their Bronze medal and then I watched the Canadian women get the gold against Sweden. Even though I was obviously cheering for Canada, it does tug at the heart strings a bit when you see someone miss a shot that more than likely costs them the game. But as I like to think about it, you WIN a silver, not LOSE a gold.
On the way to get the replacement blinds from the other day, I was listening to the womens gold medal hockey between Canada and the US. The Canadians showed a lot of spirit coming from 0-2 to win 3-2 in sudden death overtime.
In a land where hockey is king, that's a big one for the country.
