Bath.....

We managed to leave within half an hour of the agreed time this morning! Not bad!

Bath is the destination for the next two days and a beautiful city it is too, albeit several historic buildings are decorated with scaffolding and plastic sheeting. The insides are still open and so far look just as inviting or promising.

The water levels are high and the river is very fast flowing over the weir at Pulteney Bridge, which I now see in a different light after Les Mis movie! Fantastic!

An excellent evening dinner in the Cloisters restaurant of our hotel, having first enjoyed a glass of champagne and some canapes. (Read that en Francais please!)

Lots of leaflets picked up at the Tourist Information office, so all set for tomorrow. Looking forward.....!
