After The Watershed

Following last year's nightmare winter which grabbed hold of us in November and didn't let go until the very end of March, there's cause for cautious optimism this year as none of the prophesied cold snaps have actually hit us, and our current weather pattern feels a lot like early spring showers. Of course, I'm sure there are folks floating their way around Somerset and Berkshire who'd beg to disagree that this winter has been a pretty mild affair, but frankly, buying a house on a floodplain isn't exactly Mastermind behaviour in the first place, and without wanting to sound too much like Captain Class Warrior, anyone who owns their own boat is not exactly high on my list of People To Feel Sorry For In This Country Right Now.
