5 Doves In Hiding

With the warm weather plaguing the Winter Olympics, thoughts of the beach entered my brain this evening.

A lone sand dollar stared down from atop the kitchen window, begging me to take it down and hold it.

I had never read the legend of the sand dollar and did not realize it had 5 white doves inside when broken open, symbols of good will and peace.
