What a fun day I've had ! I invited 50 of my friends to a " Mad Hatters" luncheon & they all entered into the spirit with some fantastic creations.
It was a modern party. I said on my invitation, I would pop a ham & potatoes on the table, if they would 'pop along' with a salad. We followed this up with pavlova, fruit salad & trifle.

We carried the piano out to the back courtyard & I engaged a Queenstown pianist, Mark Wilson to come and play. Mark is amazing. He is completely blind but can play any song you ask; he began with "where did you get that hat ?"

I wish I could show you all the hats ! I can tell you I'm going to bed with sore ribs !!
