Augusta Rodeo
One of those great days when you could never, ever, ever pick just one photograph to sum it up. We went to the Augusta Rodeo, my first rodeo ever, and all the students had full access to photograph as up close and personal as you wanted. I was shooting around at the beginning with no idea what to shoot and at some point it just clicked...I was interested in the cowboys hands. If you just watch their hands, they do a million different things, in a million different ways throughout the rodeo. Once I saw it, I never shot anything else all afternoon. In the end, it became my first show for school and to this day I think the work is really really beautiful.
