Enjoying the view

I had a day out with RonaMac and BrianMac today, showing them the sights of our wee district. First we went to Lake Rotoiti, where we enjoyed the lovely view of the Lake, had a nice relaxing lunch at Clinkers Cafe, and then visited Lake Rotorua. The drive back to Murchison was via the Braeburn track, out through the Tutaki Valley, and back onto the State Highway.

Our next stop was Maruia Falls, which today was a popular stop for many. Back into Murchison for a look around our Information Centre, and then out to the Red Barn for a cuppa and a bit of a chat. TeeJay joined us for drink, before we headed back home.

Tonight we had a BBQ tea, followed by desert and a cup of tea. It's been a wonderful relaxing day, although rather hot in the 31 degree C temperature.

This photo was taken at Lake Rotoiti this morning. I loved how this lady was sun bathing at the end of the wharf with not a care in the world as to who was looking at her (or photographing her!). I won't suggest that you have a closer look - you may just see far too much!

Have a nice weekend everyone.
