Railway Walk

The Isle of Wight has 500+ miles of wonderful walking tracks but due to all the Winter rain most of them are at present waterlogged or knee deep in mud or clay.

Fortunately there are many cycle and walking routes following the old railway tracks which are hard paved and take you deep into the countryside.

This shot was taken from the railway walk which follows the old line between Newport and Sandown a distance of about 6 miles and affords some lovely views of the surrounding farmland.
