Shelly

This is Shelly, our pet Paradise Shelduck at the aviary. She is unconsciously posing for the camera all the while wondering why I haven't picked her up yet! She loves to snuggle in my arms like a puppy and rests her beak on my shoulder or against my neck under my hair! She is a most unusual girl and she wasn't hand-raised. She came to the aviary when she and her mate where about a year old.
