Signs of life!

I had another 5 minute play with the macro digital zoom today. This little green shoot is one of the clematis plants I have in the garden. I am always surprised just how hardy these plants are, they look so frail when they first start out.
Unfortunately we won't be here to see this one flower, but I'm sure I'll find a spot in our new garden to plant some more.
I had a little treat today, I was out for lunch with a couple of good friends that I met through work many years ago. It was good to catch up and they are already planning when they're coming to visit the new place :-)
