Sunshine, showers and sadness

The day started bright and sunny. 2 funerals in the village today, one for a young man the same age as my daughter - I had wanted to attend but then had to visit the dentist, and the only appointment time available was right in the middle of the time the service would be held. Bit of a wake up call when someone of your children's generation passes away so suddenly - feel so sad for his family - this is the second child they have lost.

The weather went down hill mid-afternoon, and when I returned from the dentist this was the view from the conservatory window - it then started to hail as well! Panto again tonight - hopefully might lift our spirits a bit.
