Minature Horse Steeplejump Race Christchurch Show

I had masses of photos of every kind of animal, machine and activity today but in the end felt this was a good indication of what the show is like and it certainly is a favourite to watch. I wanted to include the setting the audience and the action to some degree and I hope this is a good result for those aims. I had known any of the riders I would have gone for a close up, but as it is a public event wanted to show the race with all its detail but not intrusion of privacy. It was a very cold and bitter day so a challenge to keep those fingers working on the camera!
