A Red

Red squirrel taken through a glass door. They are occasional visitors to our bird feeders, usually for the peanuts. They are non destructive unlike the Greys which are not found here. We have a squirrel warden whose job is to keep the Greys out.

This one looked really healthy with a splendid tail. He/she spent ages eating the nuts via impressive contortions. What acrobats they are and how quickly they move both in the trees and on the ground.

We are lucky to still have them.
