Rippon Tor
We have spent today with daughter No3 and the children at their house in Ashburton. The children were on great form and there were full of information about the show "The Lion King" which they saw in Plymouth on Wednesday.
Gethin (3) was still wide eyed about all the animals .
Late this afternoon Mrs M and I drove back over the moor to Morton and the sun was shinning. I stopped at Hemsworthy Gate cross roads to take this picture.
Rippon Tor is 473 m above sea level and roads from the junction lead to Ashburton, Widecombe-in-Moor and Bovey Tracey (ia Haytor).
Standing around taking photographs I soon realized that even though the sun was shinning it was very cold.
