Take a Seat

An unlikely spot to find a lone chair, which looks very like an Ikea one to me. It sits outside an internet access shop which may have aspirations to become a cafe, but which will then certainly need more than that chair. I have only ever seen one person sitting on it and he was reading a newspaper and not tapping on a keyboard.

Today it was another 'ladies who do coffee mornings' day. This time one with two ladies whom I first met in the primary school playground many years ago. Now we only see each other on our birthdays and so we have a lot of catching up to do with news of the children and grandchildren. It's always interesting to know what these wee boys we first knew as innocent 5 year olds with skinned knees are doing now that they are young men in their 30's with wives and mortgages.
